Just today I was in a store with a black guy who was mumbling to himself After he walked out a woman went to the counter and told the cashier that he had scooped several items into his bag before leaving The cashier said he does it all the time but the company wouldn’t let her call the police because they wouldn’t do anything anyway and it looks bad Everyone has been in this situation, they see a black person breaking the law or just the basic rules of civilized society but they stay quiet
